Various free updates and patches have been responsible for bringing content from expansions previously not included in Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission into the game, such as certain card sets from Mission of the Galaxy, Mission of the Evil Dragons, Mission of God, and post-Mission of the Universe 2 missions. The title in its base version initially features over 1160 original arcade cards, encompassing only the first eight Super Dragon Ball Heroes expansion sets and the first two Mission Universe expansion sets, totaling over 350 available characters. Its release date is Apin Japan, while in America, Europe and Oceania it will be released on April 5, 2019, making it the first game in the Dragon Ball Heroes franchise to be officially localized and distributed outside of Japan, as well as being translated with subtitles, respectively, and released on PC. However, content from other expansions has been added to Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission through free patches and updates.
